The Best 2016 Blues for your walls- your living room could wow!

Who else could say they've gone this bold in the bedroom.....well design wise anyway.
This beautifully styled room featured on Camille Styles by designer Kim West (and I saw it in HGTV's April 2016 issue!) had caught my eye for its dramatic use of blue and pattern! Scroll through to see the rest, then I'll tell you if your home is right for blue!

This toned down blue is perfect for those who are shying away from the more saturated colours. Designed by House of Jade this blue is Van Deusen Blue by Benjamin Moore.

This room is so, so simple, yet serene and elegant. I totally admire Emily Henderson and her style is so up my alley. Mixing vintage and mod pieces, she uses a lot of blues in her design.  So as you can see blue wallpaper is also a great way to inject the space with some blue!

Blue, black and lots of white make for a dramatic colour scheme!

If your home has a lot of beige, or white, or any neutrals really then for sure any of these blues will make all those neutrals pop. Navy blue has been hailed as a great neutral so there's no chance of really getting sick of the colour. It goes with most accent colours as well, such as pink, red, orange, yellow and even green!

I am super psyched because I had a great idea for a pop of blue to complement my orange/beige exterior until we paint (if and when we do!)

I'll share the fun 2-hour project with you later this week!

Have a great day!

XOXO,
B
