Decus Interiors- 2 stunning design jobs + Get the Look

I love coming across amazing home design. This Australian design team creates functional stylish homes. I'm in love. Again.  The open concept and laid back design is perfect for relaxing or entertaining. Objects don't need to be put away, or perfectly placed as seen above. White walls and large window is always a great way to start a design scheme.

This yellow seat adds the perfect pop of colour and whimsy. Everything is simple, it allows the beauty of the room (mouldings, fireplace, doors) to take centre stage.  The classic architecture with the light wood floors = perfection.

This is actually similar to how I envision our bathroom in the near future. The mini hexagon tiles are one of my favourite. I looked into it for the kitchen but decided it was more of a bathroom type of tile.  In a carara marble it is killer.

I love the plantation shutters and how the bed sits in front of the window. That long shelving unit looks practical and modern.

Overlooking the ocean, the goal was to create a relaxed, practical home with a barefoot vibe.

That blue mother of pearl backsplash is amazing. Exactly what that space needed!

1. Soderhamn couch, Ikea  2. Godmorgan sink/cabinet, Ikea  3. Stockholm rug, Ikea  4. Modern cottage side table, Bouclair   5. Framed Horse Art, Bouclair   6.  Helg pendant lamp, Ikea   7.  Sektion wall cabinet,  Ikea  8.  Griffintown wooden & metal stool,  Bouclair

Just adding a few elements and switching out what doesn't work (or you no longer like or use) is an easy way to achieve a whole new look!

Have a great Monday ;)
